Airfone Flip 29i, AF 26 and AF 31 phones unleashed

Airfone releases its lineup of multi-featured and affordable handsets in India. This lineup includes Flip 29i, AF 26 and AF 31 with dual SIM capability. These handsets also offer MP3 player and TF card support.

The Flip 29i is a stylish Dark Grey colored clamshell with 1.3 megapixel camera and touchscreen. It supports dual SIM connectivity, MP3 player, video recorder and player. The clamshell also packages a 2GB microSD card as a standard accessory that is worth Rs. 500 (approx).

Speaking to the Director of Airfone, Vishal Chitkara he said “Our aim is to become one of top five handset companies in India. Our plan is to ensure that Airfone is known throughout India as a value phone brand. We plan to cover at least 80 percent of India by end of fiscal year 2009-10.”

The AF 26 boasts of its stylish design in Black color. Other notable features include music player, voice recorder, Bluetooth, speaker phone, and VGA Digital camera. The handset also supports 8GB expandable memory and GPRS. It offers a whopping long battery life up to 15 days standby.

The AF 31 handset flaunts its elegant black color and integrates the most desired features. With the universal dual SIM card support, users can activate GSM+ GSM or GSM + CDMA. It offers VGA digital camera audio/video recorder, torch, Bluetooth, GPRS support, stereo FM radio and microSD card expandable up to 16 GB

Users can purchase the feature-packed Flip 29i and AF 31 for Rs. 4,999 each. The AF 26 multi-feature handset is retailed for Rs. 2,999.

FUJIFILM India Pvt. Ltd. has announced the introduction and availability of the world’s smallest “10x zoom digital camera” in the country, christened the FinePix F70EXR. The camera is the smallest long zoom compact, a category of digital cameras which is rapidly gaining popularity, and has the least cm3 volume as compared to all other brands currently available on the market.

“FinePix F70EXR buyers will definitely benefit from the EXR Auto feature as it lets the camera do all the hard work allowing the photographer to concentrate on getting the best possible pictures. Android Based HTC Tattoo Sees India Launch

HTC Corporation has finally put an end to the wait of many Indian customers who had been waiting for the HTC Tattoo eagerly, by launching the phone countrywide. The new offering is the second mobile device in the series of HTC Sense, which involves a mobile experience revolving mainly around three principles – Make it Mine, Stay Closer and Discover the Unexpected.

The Android equipped phone is the company first offering which can be customized by users from both the inside and outside, i. e., both on the hardware and software front.

Fitted with a 2.8 inch touch screen display with a 240×320 QVGA resolution, the Tattoo comes bundled with a 3.2 megapixel camera, G-sensor, Digital Compass, in-built FM radio and an expandable microSD memory. The HTC device is also effectively equipped with Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity.

Offering a talk-time of up-to 390 minutes and stand-by time of up-to 520 hours, the HTC device is powered with a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery.

To begin with, the HTC Tattoo is being offered at a price of Rs. 18,400 in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, while it is available at a price of Rs. 16,990 everywhere else. Vodafone Essar customers, who aspire to become Tattoo users, will be given an exclusive offer from the carrier, valid till 31 January 2010.

Vodafone Essar launches new series of Zoozoo-based campaign on Television

Vodafone Essar from today launched a new series of advertising campaign in the TV medium for its various services based on its now famous Zoozoo characters. Under the new campaign, three new Zozoo ads will be published every week on TV.

Kumar Ramanathan, Chief Marketing Officer, Vodafone Essar said, “The Zoozoos campaign resonated strongly with viewers in creating an emotional connect and communicating our various offerings. The Zoozoos are back again to tell viewers about our various innovative and customer-centric offerings in a simple and endearing manner.”

Zoozoo’s initial series of campaign became hugely popular. Subsequently the company also launched the campaign in the digital medium including in some popular social networking sites such as Facebook with more than 300,000 fans. Two more viral campaigns around the Independence Day and Diwali were also launched. Vodafone also launched Zoozoo merchandise in tie-up with Shoppers Stop.

HP launches touch-enabled All-in-One PCs

NEW DELHI: PC maker Hewlett Packard
on Friday launched its new range of All-in-One (AIO) PCs, based on touch technology which is priced at Rs
59,990 onwards.

“HP’s new range of All-in-One PCs combine the monitor and CPU and the result is a powerful, sleek and elegant desktop. HP has also introduced multi-touch computing for consumers with the introduction of HP TouchSmart300 All-in-One Desktop PC, HP said in a statement.

The HP TouchSmart300 PC and HP TouchSmart600 PC feature enhanced multi-touch technology, including gestures such as pinch, rotate, arc, flick, press and drag, enabling users to move, modify and share all digital content with natural and intuitive movements. The AIO PCs are priced at Rs 59,990 and Rs 89,990 respectively, it added.

The HP Pavilion MS200, which is the company’s first non-touch consumer all-in-one desktop PC, is priced at Rs 36,990.

“From touch to entertainment and multimedia, HP continues to showcase its technology innovation and leadership,” HP India Country Manager (Consumer Desktop PCs) Ketan Patel said.
