The Bluetooth-enabled V470 Cordless Laser Mouse can be connected with MacBook computers and even with Windows-based notebook PCs, without any external receiver. The V470 mouse sports Bluetooth 1.2 wireless technology along with laser tracking. Besides, the mouse allows users to scroll horizontally as well as vertically.

The V470 Cordless Laser Mouse is powered by 2 AA batteries and rates battery life of up to 4 months. Besides, a battery indicator is provided that tells you the status of the battery. he mouse features laser tracking, side-to-side scrolling plus zoom, claims a battery life of up to four months, and has a battery indicator light. It uses two AA batteries.

The US version of the mouse makes no mention of any other specifications, such as DPI, so we’re left guessing on that. Decorated in high-gloss blue and white, it will be available from the beginning of September, priced £34.99. The Logitech V470 comes in a glossy finish of white or blue, boasts a battery life of up to 4 months and includes a low-battery indicator light. The mouse also has a “zoom” feature along with Logitech’s side-to-side scrolling which gives the user both vertical and horizontal scrolling.

This comes in real handy on wider pages viewed on smaller notebook screens. Logitech offers support on V470 for both PC and Mac. The bundled protective pouch secures the mouse during travel. The package contents comprise of the mouse, protective pouch, Set Point software CD, 2 AA batteries and installation guide. Logitech has decided to offer a generous 3-year limited hardware warranty on the V470 Cordless Laser Mouse.

Logitech introduced the Pure-Fi Anywhere Compact Speakers for iPod and the Pure-Fi Dream Premium Bedroom Music System for iPod. The anywhere speakers are coming in September for US$149.99; the Dream is coming in November for $249.99 (the Web site lists it at $299.99). The new Dream is designed expressly for ipod users who are looking for a high-quality sound system for the bedroom. It incorporates a digital AM/FM radio, dual alarm with battery backup and motion and light-sensing technology. The Logitech Pure-Fi Dream Premium system for iPod also has a built-in AM/FM radio and a dual alarm with battery backup. Thus, two people can set their wake up alarms for two separate times. You can also set an iPod track or playlist, radio station or buzzer as the alarm ring.

The Logitech Pure-Fi Dream Premium Bedroom Music System for iPod offers more than just great audio, for this system also uses the latest in motion-sensing technology. When controlling this speaker system in the dark, the motion-sensitive, back lighted control buttons automatically light up when a person waves a hand over the top of speaker. The buttons automatically dim when the person has finished changing the speaker’s settings. Besides, the back lighted buttons make it easy to set the alarm clock without the need to turn on the light.

K770 Cyber-shot launched by SonyEricsson

K770 Cyber-shot is a digital camera, a photo album and a phone all in one. At 14.5mm slim and finished in Truffle Brown, K770 can take pictures, which can be printed up to A4 size. The camera can be used for videos and comes with a powerful photo light for indoor photo taking and filming.

The K770 phone features 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus, supports Memory Stick Micro (M2) and comes with a 256 MB memory card where one can store up to 200 photos. With in-built media player, the phone has FM radio with RDS. The Stereo Bluetooth Headset HBH-DS200 can be auto-paired with K770 and offers up to 6 hours of talk time or music listening time. The new K770 Cyber-shot from SonyEricsson for it’s sweet convenience. As the Cyber-shot name suggests, this is all about the photos.

The slim line candy bar (14.5 mm or 0.57 inch) packs a 3.2 megapixel camera with some rudimentary editing software and a photo album. Equipped with a Memory Stick Micro memory slot, the K770 comes with a 256 MB memory card those stores up to 200 photos of the best quality. The memory can also be used to store music tracks, as the K770 offers both a built-in media player and Stereo Bluetooth (A2DP) support. When listening to music, the battery life should last approximately 10 hours, while the talk and standby times should be around 5 hours and 8 days, respectively.

When it comes to internet browsing, the K770 relies upon the Access Net Front web browser and a 3G (UMTS 2100 MHz) connection. The handset does however not support EDGE, so importers would be stuck with a GPRS connection for data transfer. In other words, the Sony Ericsson K770 is not the most obvious import handset.

LaCie 5TB Biggest S2S SATA RAID tower

LaCie has introduced its 5 TB S2S SATA RAID system with several interface and RAID level options designed for content creation professionals. The 5TB Biggest S2S five-disk RAID boasts a 3Gbit/sec eSATA interface, direct eSATA-to-SATA connection, burst rates of over 200MB/sec, and the ability to link up with three other S2S units on the eSATA PCI-X / ExpressCard to achieve the aforementioned 20TB solution.
