DivX and Broadcom a supplier of semiconductors for wired and wireless communications, unviels the DivX Certification of the Broadcom BCM7403 chip for set-top devices.

DivX offers a digital media format used by consumers to create, share and play high-quality digital video across a range of devices and platforms. DivX Certification of Broadcom s BCM7403 will enable set-top box manufacturers to offer their consumers the ability to easily playback DivX videos from the PC or the Internet directly on their televisions through these set-top devices.
