The Huawei M318 clamshell handset has been introduced for customers of MetroPCS Communications Inc, a Dallas-based wireless communication service provider, by Huawei Technologies Co Ltd, a provider of next generation telecomm network solutions.
The Huawei M318 features text messaging, speaker phone, a 1.5-inch 65K TFT colour display, WAP 2.0 for Web browsing, BREW and 72-chord ring tones.
It comes equipped with 5MB of onboard memory. Talk time is 3.5 hours with a standby time of 192 hours (8 days). The phone is presently available in select MetroPCS markets.
