Nokia N81 8GB

Nokia’s N81 8GB is, not unexpectedly given the handset’s name, it is equipped with 8GB of internal storage memory. N81 8GB is a quad-band mobile with 3G. It has a front-facing camera for video calling. It is a chunky beast in the hand and pocket, measuring 102mm tall, 50mm wide and 17.9mm thick. It weighs 140g.

The N81 is based on the Symbian 9.2 operating system, with Nokia’s own S60 3.1 user interface. It’s a quad-band GSM and 3G device, although HSDPA isn’t included.

Nokia has added 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, however, so users have the option of selecting this cost-effective and convenient route for downloading and surfing. It integrates a large screen, 3G connectivity, Wi-Fi LAN, a camera and a 3.5mm headphone connector.

It also come loaded with Nokia Music store and N-gage games service that allows search, purchase, manage and play music and games. Nokia N81 8GB also includes playable demos of EA SPORTS FIFA 07, Asphalt 3: Street Rules and Space Impact Light.

The Nokia N81 8GB, fully-charged, allows up to four hours GSM talk time, three hours WCDMA talk time, 408 hours standby time, 3.5 hours QVGA video recording time, 4.5 hours QVGA video playback time and 11.5 hours music playback time.
